On Friday, October 31, 偶蜜国际传媒 CCE hosted the "Civic Engagement in Higher Education" Workshop, designed to help faculty members integrate civic engagement into their teaching practices. The workshop aimed to equip participants with practical tools, strategies, and insights to foster social responsibility, community engagement, and active citizenship among 偶蜜国际传媒 students.

The session, titled 鈥淔rom Theory to Practice,鈥� was led by Dr. Gorkem Atsungur, Department Chair of International and Comparative Politics and Coordinator of the GHEA21 Certificate Programs on Civic Engagement and Global Studies at 偶蜜国际传媒. Dr. Atsungur guided participants through discussions on defining civic engagement, understanding its role in higher education, and exploring effective ways to embed it into course curricula.

Throughout the workshop, faculty members introduced themselves and shared their perspectives on civic engagement, reflected on their classroom experiences, and discussed activities and assignments that encourage students鈥� community participation. Participants also exchanged practical ideas for integrating civic engagement across disciplines, emphasizing the importance of connecting academic learning with real-world social impact.
