On November 3, 2017 偶蜜国际传媒 Student Senate elections for 2017-2018 academic years were held. Five hundred fifty three听偶蜜国际传媒 students from all departments have voted to choose the new SS members.

The national Nepalese U-19 football team visited 偶蜜国际传媒 on 8th November . They are participating in the qualifying round of Asian Football Confederation Championship 2018 being held in Kyrgyzstan.

On Thursday, 26 October 2017, Dr. Dorjee Kinlay, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) representative (United Nations in Kyrgyzstan) has given a guest lecture for 偶蜜国际传媒 students from Environmental Management Sustainable Development and Applied Geology departments on the topic 鈥淭he State of Food and Agriculture鈥�.

偶蜜国际传媒 new faculty member - Anastasia Valeeva is data journalism lecturer and open data researcher. She has researched the use of open data in investigative data journalism as part of her fellowship at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, Oxford.

Dear faculty and students, for the upcoming 6th Asian Borderlands conference in 偶蜜国际传媒 (Bishkek), we invite panels and papers that address the following questions: How are borderlands in Asia creating alternative spaces for heritages, self-definition and the extraction of resources? How can these cases serve to rethink social theories of various kind? We look forward to receiving proposals before 25 October 2017.

Every year, 偶蜜国际传媒 holds elections to the Student Senate, membership in which is considered prestigious among university students. This year, Student Senate Elections 2017 will take place on November 3.

Meghan McCormack, member of the Law Division faculty has secured 4,000 Euro for 偶蜜国际传媒 from the AMICAL Consortium to (1) purchase data analysis software to aid 偶蜜国际传媒 faculty's qualitative and quantitative research, and (2) invite international experts to train 偶蜜国际传媒 faculty, staff, and students on hosting, managing, and ethically sharing research data.
