Ìý Central Asian Studies Institute (CASI) and theÌýInternational and Comparative Politics Department (ICP) will continue a series of guest lectures by US scholars on China in April-May at żÃÛ¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½. American Councils, IWPR, and the Department of State sponsor the lectures.

żÃÛ¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Law Debate Competition aims to allow high school students to come forward and experience the art of debating legal issues. It offers a great chance for highschool students across Central Asia to showcase their skills and get scholarships to study in one of the leading law programs in Central Asia.

On April 1, 2023, students of fiveÌýuniversities, such as AUN, AUFA, BRAC, PARAMI, and żÃÛ¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½, had a great opportunity to discuss one of the hot topics devoted toÌýAI and its impact on humanityÌýwithin the framework of Civic Engagement Project calledÌýCrossing Borders Through Social Media and DialogueÌýinitiated byÌýEkaterina Galimova (żÃÛ¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½) and Emilienne Akpan (AUN) in 2019.

The construction project is fully funded by żÃÛ¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ with the support of the Open Society Foundations. After completion of the construction, which is currently well underway, the Institute of Seismology will take possession of a modern, two-story building (with a basement), built for its intended use as a headquarters and research hub.
