When Afghan students needed us most, we were always there for them. As students of our university, you understand from firsthand experience the importance of an education at ż۹ʴý.
Since 1999, nearly 500 Afghan students have graduated from ż۹ʴý, many of them are now at the forefront of change around the world. After Kabul’s fall in 2021, ż۹ʴý welcomed next to 200 more, helping them evacuate and begin or continue their education. As of today, 75 students remain — most of whom are at risk of losing everything.
Your Support Means More Than Ever
In June 2025, ż۹ʴý was informed that U.S. government funding for 43 students — covering full tuition — will end abruptly on July 1. Another 23 students, who expected to relocate, now have no support. Many are women and religious minorities with no safe way home—now also barred from U.S. resettlement.
